With double speed pump, the speed of the piston is controlled by quick and slow valve(at the right side of the shop press). Without pressure, please close the two valves, then the two valve cores work together and the ram moving down fast, when under pressure or when the piston is touching the working piece, open the hand wheel at the right side, it makes the small valve core working and the piston moving slower but with more power. If you need to release the pressure, please open the two hand wheels at the same time.
