Description of the main units for wet type continuous fish meal production
Steamer(directly of indirectly steaming stock)
The shell jacket, the intermediate shaft and the helical blade of the steamer provide indirect steam heating. The feed steam calandrias on both sides of the steamer shell provide direct steam heating.
Squeezer of fish meal machine (expelling most of the water in steamed stock by squeezing)
1.Single-screw squeezer
The single-screw squeezer has a tapered intermediate shaft and the helical blade with variable pitch, forming a decreasing space to provide squeezing. It can well expel most of the water and fat in fish stock.
2.Double-screw squeezer
The double-screw squeezer has a tapered intermediate shaft and the helical blade with variable pitch, and can squeeze fish stock and expel most of the water and fat.
Continuous dryerof China Fish Meal Machine(continuously feeding fish cake at the front end and discharging fish meal at the rear end)
1. Annular-tube type continuous dryer
The dryer shaft is welded with several sets of annular tubes, each of which is comprised of several layers of concentric annular tubes with different diameters. Steam feeding and water returning are respectively through the whole tubes.
2. Plate-and-tube type continuous dryer
The dryer shaft is welded with several iron discs in equal spacing. Each iron disc is welded on both sides with the tubes in semi-circular section that is cut of seamless tube into two halves and bent in Archimede’s spiral. Fish meal can be stirred between two adjacent discs by the semi-circular spiral tubes on both sides and kept in full contact with the heating surface. Steam feeding and water returning are respectively through the semi-circular tubes.
3. Spiral-tube/plate type continuous dryer (new type with Chinese patent )
The dryer shaft is welded with several sets of multi-layer non-concentric seamless tubes, each of which is comprised of multiple seamless tubes having different sizes bent in Archimede’s spiral. Steam feeding and water returning are respectively through the whole tubes. The spiral-tube dryer has the advantage of the annular-tube dryer in steam feeding and water draining and the good performance of the plate-and-tube dryer in fully stirring fish meal. These three kinds of dryers, i. e. the annular-tube dryer, the plate-and-tube dryer and the spiral-tube/plate dryer, are classified into the design of the dryer shell with steam jacket and the design without steam jacket.

3. Continuously feeding fish cake at the front end and discharging fish meal at the rear end
4. Heating up the liquor in which residue has been expelled, separating fish oil from the liquor and then heating the net oil for producing superior fish oil.
5. The vacuum concentrating system can concentrate the liquor subject to oil separating, and produce enriched liquor through multiple stages of vacuum concentrating. The enriched liquor can be added into the fishmeal, producing the full-tallow fishmeal.
6. The-deodorizing system can process the vapor generated in fishmeal processing and the waste steam to expel most of the odor generated in the process.
