The caking index detector is based on GB5447-1997 national standard and refers to international standard ISO335-1974 Hard Coal-Determination of Caking Power-Roga Test.

Method: mix test coal sample and special anthracite of a certain weight under the conditions specified, flash heat for coking, test the strength of the coke lumps obtained in a drum of certain specifications and use the abrasion resistance of the coke lumps, i.e., damage resistance, to indicate the caking capacity of the test coal sample.
