Description

The SGM series is the result of Zolix instrument long-standing expertise in optoelectronics and spectroscopy. The SGM series consists of a wide range of designs, from desktop scientific spectrographs to mini CCD spectrographs. All of them are based on tried and trusted optical design which are optimised for maximum performance in the spectral range from 200 nm to 1100 nm, a range which can be analysed using silicon based CCD-line detectors. The SGM100 uses a crossed Czerny-Turner design with optical traps which produces the least stray light and maximum optical resolution. This optical engine can be equipped with different detectors and diffraction gratings.
Direct optical input and rugged design
Direct optical lens coupling without extra optical loss from optical fiber transmission and coupling. Precision machining optical engine comes with no wavelength drift from thermal effects and vibration.
CCD sensor with 3648 pixels
SGM spectrometers have been designed around the most common requirements for spectral range, optical resolution and sensitivity. For many applications, SGM spectrometers with this detector offer the best price - performance ratio.
Built-in Intelligence
Chameleon Series are designed for operation independent of a connected PC; these spectrometers come with an onboard colorimetric and radiometric data processing unit. Based on a 32-bit DSP processor, Chameleon Series can automatically carry out measurements, process results, and export the results ready-to-use over USB2.0 interfaces.
