Hammer crusher (hammer mill) are applicable for various hard and fragile materials, such as limestone, coal, salt, gypsum, alum, brick and tile, etc. The crushing compressive strength of materials should not be in excess of 150Mpa. Hammer crusher is mainly used in industries such as cement, coal separation, electricity generation, building materials and compound fertilizer, etc. And hammer crusher can crush materials with different sizes into equal particle, which favors the next procedure. The advantages of hammer crusher is have reliable mechanical structure, high productivity and favorable applicability.
The hammer crusher, also named hammer crusher machine,which crushes by the collisions between high-speed hammer and materials. It has features of simple structure, high reduction ration, high efficiency, etc. The common hammer crusher machine includes single-rotor type and double-rotor type. According to the arrangement of the hammer on the rotary table, it can also be divided into single-row hammer mill and multi-row hammer mill; according to the different shape, this machine can be divided into ring hammer crusher and box hammer crusher. Hammer crusher is suitable for crushing medium hard materials in many industrial departments such as cement, chemistry, power station and metallurgy.

Working Principle
Materials go into the hammer crusher and crushed by the high-speed rotating hammer. Driven by the hammer, the crushed materials then throw to the crushing plate. And the large size materials are crushed by the hammer in the grate bars and small size ones discharge from the grate bars.
