In this type of oven a set of electric heaters is fitted inside the baking chamber, above and below the conveyor. The heat is transferred to the products essentially by radiation. The power of the electric heaters is adjustable and can be regulated independently for each zone.This type of oven is typically used in those countries where electricity is cheaper than gaseous fuels or where it is the only source of power available.          

Inside the baking chamber, the conveyor whether wiremesh or metal band is always supported by rollers.
