Description
Introduction
The main function of the square kelly is to turn the rotation of the rotary table into the rotation of the whole drill string and the drilling bit, and the straturn breaking can be fulfilled, that is to transmit the torque and to bear the full weight of the drill string.
PDM makes square or hexagonal kellies with the materials of AISI 4145H or AISI 4145HM alloy steel according to API Spec 7-1. Full-length heat treating, full-length and full-section ultrasonic testing and magnetic leaking detection assure the quality reliability of kellies.
All square kellies manufactured by our company are provided with stamping steel thread protecting cap, and pipe packing can also be provided according to the client requirements.
