KAISHAN Group was founded in 1956 and it is an enterprise group which developed from Kaishan Co., Ltd, which is a backbone enterprise fostered by Zhejiang provincial government and attains a good reputation in the province, the group has been honored as the company of good faith, the civilized enterprise at Provincial Level."Kaishan" brand products and the trademark have been honored as "Zhejiang Famous Brand" and "Zhejiang Famous Trademark" for many years continuously. In Sep.2005,Kaishan group has been honored as "Zhejiang Famous Enterprise " and now the group has become the biggest manufacturer of air compressor and rock drill machine in China in terms of the production scale and market share. In Dec. 2006, the Kaishan Brand Air Compressors have been granted as "Products Exempt from Inspection". Kaishan group is one of the first enterprises who get this honor.

The total asset of the group is about 0.75 billion RMB . In 2005, the total sales volume of Kaishan group reached 0.76 billion RMB and turned over 30 millions RMB worth of taxes. The Kaishan Group then developed itself a national large-scale enterprise .In 2006 , the total sales volume of the Group achieved 1.1 billion.
